Apart from the regular service activities, our Home has taken the initiative to improve the health, hygiene and literacy in rural areas in Tiruvallur and Chengalpattu Districts for the benefit of poor & downtrodden.
With the Financial support from Five Star Business Finance Limited, the following Service activities are being carried out with the support of our Old Boys Association, Chennai Chapter.

Medical Camps General And Special
To improve the health, hygiene in the rural areas Ramakrishna Mission Students' Home has taken the initiative With the Financial support from Five Star Business Finance Limited. Special and general medical camps are being carried out with the manual support from our Old Boys Association, Chennai Chapter.

Special Medical camps like Eye, Dental and Ortho, 6 Camps/year at
different villages in Chennai, Chengalpattu and Tiruvallur Districts, With the Financial support from Five Star Business Finance Limited.
Eye camp on 28-07-2024 : With the support of Rotary club of Gummidipoondi industrial city and M N Eye Hospital in Chennai, we had conducted an Eye camp at Thathamanji center. 58 persons have been screened . The 7 persons were selected for cataract surgery . The 7 people were taken by the Hospital in their van for further treatment.
Eye camp on 29-09-2024 : With the support of Rotary club of Gummidipoondi industrial city and M N Eye Hospital in chennai, we had conducted an Eye camp at Gnayiru village. 31persons have been screened . 2 persons were selected for cataract surgery . 5 persons have been suggested for power glasses.
